Relief package for victims of floods in June, 2013 in Uttarakhand

Prime Minister during his visit had announced the following assistance from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the victims of floods:-

(a) Ex-gratia of Rs.2 lakh each to the next of kin of the persons deceased.
(b) Ex-gratia of Rs.50,000/- each to the seriously injured persons.
(c) Financial assistance of Rs.1 lakh each to the persons whose houses got fully damaged.
(d) Financial assistance of Rs.50,000/- each to the persons whose houses got partially damaged.

Rs. 154.105 crore has been reimbursed to Government of Uttarakhand for meeting the expenditure involved for 151 death cases, 4116 missing cases, 113 seriously injured cases, 1913 fully damaged house cases and 9814 partially damaged house cases.
