Pilot Programme for Protection of Child Rights in the State of Jammu & Kashmir

Prime Minister has approved an amount of Rs. 99.20 lakh from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for a period of one year for implementation of the Scheme. The Scheme has been extended to 3 years. The scheme is implemented by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights under Ministry of Home Affairs. The premise of the scheme is to initiate pilot programme for Protection of Child Rights in Jammu & Kashmir with Focus on Right to Education. An amount of Rs. 99.20 lakh has been released so far. The scheme stands closed from 31-7-2013.
