Rehabilitation of victims of communal / ethnic violence (May - October 2008) in Odisha

Following schemes worth Rs. 655 lakh were sanctioned.

· Assistance for reconstruction of damaged houses:

-Assistance of Rs. 20,000/- each for 1,193 fully damaged houses.

-Assistance of Rs. 10,000/- each for 3,232 partially damaged houses.

Financial assistance has since been released for 3147 partially damaged and 1099 fully damaged houses.

· Assistance for reconstruction of Public Institutions:

-Assistance of Rs. 2.00 lakh each for 21 fully damaged Public Institutions.

-Assistance of Rs. 1.00 lakh each for 51 partially damaged Public Institutions.

Financial assistance has since been released for 12 partially damaged public institutions.
