PM condoles passing away of Shrimati Mercy Ravi, Congress leader from Kerala

The Prime Minister has condoled the passing away of Congress leader of Kerala Shrimati Mercy Ravi. The Prime Minister in his condolence message to her husband Union Minister Vayallar Ravi, described Shrimati Ravi as an active leader who worked for the welfare of the people.

The Prime Minister's condolence message is as follows:

"I was greatly saddened to learn of the passing away of your wife Shrimati Mercy Ravi. May her soul rest in peace.

Shrimati Mercy Ravi was an active Congress leader of Kerala and worked hard for the welfare of the people and the State. She was also known for her literary contributions, which advocated the cause of women's empowerment and raised issues of economic exploitation.

Please accept my deepest condolences. May God give you and your family the strength to bear this irreparable loss."
