PM greets the Nation on Guru Ravidas Jayanti

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the Nation on the auspicious occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti.

In a message, the Prime Minister said that Guru Ravidas embodied the spirit of humility and dignity of work. Revered by Hindus and Sikhs, the teachings of Guru Ravidas have been a source of knowledge and wisdom and would continue to inspire the egalitarian spirit of our society, Dr. Singh added.
