PM's letter to President Obama

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has written a letter to President Barack H. Obama felicitating him on his assumption of office as President of United States of America. In his letter Dr. Singh said that the people of India join him in sending their best wishes. The letter focuses on the multi-faceted relationship that is anchored in the common values of democracy, pluralism and respect for diversity, shared by the two countries. He expressed the hope that the bilateral relations between India and the USA would strengthen further. The Prime Minister reiterated his invitation to President and Mrs. Obama to visit India.
