PM greets the people on Raksha Bandhan

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the Nation on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

In a message, the Prime Minister said that the festival is an occasion to uphold the traditional values of our culture and acknowledge and celebrate the role of woman in the family.

"May this festival bring to all health, happiness, camaraderie and prosperity", Dr. Manmohan Singh added.
