PM Condemns serial blasts in Ahmedabad

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has condemned the serial bomb blasts in Ahmedabad and urged people to remain calm and maintain communal harmony. Prime Minister expressed grief and anguish over the loss of lives and sends his condolences to the families of the bereaved. He has sanctioned an ex-gratia payment of rupees one lakh to the next of kin of those dead and rupees fifty thousand to those injured in the blasts.
