PM enhances relief to Ahmedabad terror victims

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, today visited terror attack blast sites in Ahmedabad and met the injured in various hospitals. Expressing solidarity with the people of Ahmedabad, PM announced a further Rs.3.5 lakh ex-gratia payment to the next of kin of deceased and an additional Rs.50 thousand to the injured.

This is in addition to the Rs.1 lakh to the next of kin of deceased and Rs.50 thousand to the injured announced by Prime Minister on July 26th.
