PM Greets the Nation on Vaisakhi/Mesadi/ Vishu/Vaisakhadi and Bahag Bihu

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the nation on the joyous occasion of Vaisakhi, Mesadi, Vishu,Vaisakhadi and Bahag Bihu.

In a message the Prime Minister said that these harvest festivals are an occasion to rejoice over the fruits of our farmer's toil. They are not only an occasion for joy and celebration but also an occasion to be grateful to nature for its bounty.

"May these festivals usher an year of prosperity and happiness for all", Dr. Manmohan Singh added.
