PM Greets Parsis on Navroz

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has greeted the nation especially the Parsi community on the occasion of Navroz, the New Year of the Zorastrians.

In a message, the Prime Minister said that the festival is an occasion to celebrate the diversity of our country. It marks a new beginning and inspires us to rejoice in the spirit of harmony and goodwill.

'May the festival bring happiness, health and prosperity to all', the Prime Minister added.
