PM condoles the demise of Shri Harishchandra Singh

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has expressed his condolences on the passing away of Shri Harishchandra Singh, father of Samajwadi Party Leader Shri Amar Singh.

In his condolence message the Prime Minister said:

"I am deeply grieved to learn of the sad demise of Shri Harishchandra Singh, father of Samajwadi Party Leader Shri Amar Singh.

The tragedy of losing an elderly person of the family is difficult to bear. The sense of loss is very overpowering for the kith and kin and all those who were close to him sharing his vision and values. In this hour of grief I stand by Shri Amar Singh and other members of the bereaved family. Shri Harishchandra Singh is no longer with them in physical form and his passing away has caused a deep void. I deeply mourn his unfortunate passing away and convey my heartfelt condolences to all those who suffered this bereavement. May his soul rest in peace."
