PM condoles loss of lives in Bangladesh cyclone and offers help in relief

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Government and people of India to the people of Bangladesh for the loss of lives in Bangladesh caused by the hurricane on November 15, 2007.

In a letter to Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed, Chief Adviser, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Dr. Singh also expressed his deepest sympathies to the members of the bereaved families. Dr. Singh said India stands ready to assist in whatever way to help in the relief process.
