PM greets the people on Id-Ul-Fitr

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the nation on the joyous occasion of Id-Ul-Fitr. In a message, the Prime Minister said that the festival is being celebrated with gaiety and fervour at the end of the pious month of Ramzan. The festival symbolizes brotherhood, compassion, sharing and it also reflects the true spirit of our composite culture. He hoped that the festival would further strengthen the bonds of our composite society.

May the Id-Ul-Fitr usher in peace, prosperity and happiness for all, the Prime Minister added.
