A Delegation of Dentists Called on the PM

A delegation of dentists called on the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh to present a book on oral health and HIV-AIDS. Speaking to the doctors the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of providing affordable dental care to all sections of society. The Prime Minister said that he often heard complaints that dental care was not within the reach of the poor.

The Prime Minister reiterated the Government's commitment to widen access to affordable health care to all sections of society and said that this is one of the key objectives of the Government's health policy.
