PM talks to Sunita Williams

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh had a telephonic conversation with the US Astronaut Ms. Sunita Williams. The Prime Minister congratulated her on her unique achievement and her contribution to the human quest for a better understanding of our Universe.

The Prime Minister invited Ms. Williams to meet him and said that she is a role model for Indian children and a source of inspiration for Indian women and that India feels proud of her achievement, even though she is a citizen of the United States of America.
