PM greets the Nation on the eve of Onam

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted citizens in India and abroad on the occasion of Onam, which is being celebrated on August 27.

In a message, Dr. Manmohan Singh has said that Onam, which heralds the beginning of the harvest season, gives us an opportunity to salute our farmers for their contributions to our economy. He has also wished that the festival may bring peace, prosperity and happiness to all.
