Additional allocation of Foodgrains to Bihar

The Union Government has made an additional allocation of 3.00 lakh tons of foodgrains to the Bihar Government for distribution among the flood affected people in the state. The Food Corporation of India has been directed to release 2.00 lakh tons of rice and 1.00 lakh tons of wheat to the state to meet the emergency in the wake of the recent floods.
