PM Condemns Killing of FCI Executive Director

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has condemned the killing of Food Corporation of India Executive Director, Shri Phulchand Ram and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.

The Prime Minister in his message to the family of Shri Phulchand Ram, said he was greatly distressed to hear of the killing of the Officer who was kidnapped by militants in April. Dr. Manmohan Singh described the killing as a dastardly and shameful act which has shocked the country. He said it needs to be condemned in the strongest terms.

The Prime Minister said the country was with the family members in their moment of grief.
