PM greets the Nation on Vaisakhadi and Bahag Bihu

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the Nation on the auspicious occasion of Vaisakhadi and Bahag Bihu.

In a message, the Prime Minister said that these festivals are occasions to celebrate the indomitable spirit of the Indian farmer. They symbolise hope even as they mark the culmination of hard work and solid determination of our farmers to move ahead on the path of progress.

May Vaisakhdi and Bahag Bihu usher in peace, prosperity and happiness for all, the Prime Minister added.
