PM greets the Nation on the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti.

In a message, the Prime Minister said that the life and teachings of Guru Ravidas continue to guide humanity towards an egalitarian society. Guru Ravidas taught us to lead a virtuous and noble life. His Jayanti is an occasion to rededicate ourselves to the task of creating a society where every human being is able to realise his or her full potential regardless of differences based on caste, creed and gender.
