PM Inaugurates Exhibition on Satyagraha

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh today inaugurated an Exhibition in Vigyan Bhawan, ahead of the two day International Conference being organised here to commemorate 100 years of Satyagraha on 29-30th of this month. The UPA Chairperson, Smt. Sonia Gandhi, many Union Ministers, Members of Parliament and other eminent persons graced the occasion.

After lighting the traditional lamp, the Prime Minister went round the Exhibition and saw various posters which depicted inspiring messages of Mahatma Gandhi. Eminent world leaders, Nobel laureates, delegations from major political parties from all regions of the world, leading civil society organizations working for peace and human rights will participate in the two day International Conference.
