PM Greets Nation on Buddha Purnima

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima.

In a message, the Prime Minister said that Lord Buddha's message of peace, tolerance, compassion and non-violence continues to guide humanity on the path of harmonious and virtuous living. "May the festival usher in peace, prosperity and happiness for all," Dr. Singh added.
