PM mourns the passing away of former Haryana CM Bansi Lal

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has condoled the passing away of Congress leader and former Haryana Chief Minister Bansi Lal. In his condolence message, Dr. Manmohan Singh said that Shri Bansi Lalji was a nationalist and a true Congressman. Describing the passing away of the former Chief Minister as a personal loss the Prime Minister said, "Chaudhary Bansi Lal was a nationalist, a modernist and a true Congressman dedicated to the ideals of our great party. He was the architect of modern Haryana taking Haryana from being a backward region to becoming one of our most developed and industrialized states. Haryana's rapid economic and social development owes a lot to the visionary leadership of Chaudhary Bansi Lal. I convey my condolences to all his followers and admirers."
