Prime Minister calls on President

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, called on President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The meeting between the two leaders lasted an hour. This was part of the regular interaction between the two leaders.

The Prime Minster also briefed the President on his visit to Thailand to attend the BIMSTEC Summit and the progress therein and his discussions with the Thai and other leaders. The Prime Minister's recent visit to flood-affected areas also figured during the discussions.
