PM condoles passing away of Shri P.M. Sayeed

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has expressed his profound shock and grief at the untimely and sudden demise of his senior colleague, Shri P.M. Sayeed. In a message, Dr. Singh said that Shri Sayeed was a valued and respected member of the Cabinet whose wisdom, sagacity and experience was of immense use not only in the power sector, but also in managing the affairs of Government. The Prime Minister extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace.
