The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has said that Guru Teg Bahadur's Martyrdom Day is a solemn occasion to remember the teachings and sacrifices of Guru Teg Bahadur. It is a day to rededicate ourselves to the ideals of equality, brotherhood and compassion as epitomised by Guru Teg Bahadur.
