No Deepawali gifts, please contribute to PMNRF

At the time of Deepawali and the festive season it has become customary for many people to send flowers and gifts to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, has expressed the desire that all those who wish to send such gifts should refrain from doing so and instead may contribute the relevant sum of money to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.
