Haryana delegation calls on Prime Minister

A delegation of Members of Legislative Assembly and MPs of Haryana called on the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, today. The Prime Minister stated that the Centre would ensure evenhanded treatment to all States and full justice would be done in the matter of sharing of waters. The Prime Minister assured them that these matters have a bearing on the federal structure of the Constitution and the Centre would ensure that its constitutional responsibilities are effectively and fully discharged.
