PM's appeal to Government Servants

Parts of the state of Jammu and Kashmir have been devastated by the earth quake on 8th Oct 2005. Hundreds of people have lost their lives and thousands rendered homeless. Property worth crores of rupees has been damaged.

The Prime Minister has issued an appeal to all Central Government employees and those working in Central Public Undertakings/ autonomous bodies to make their contributions to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to help fund the relief and rehabilitation measures.
