PM releases a book by Chaudhary Lal Singh, M.P.

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, released a book 'Mission for the Masses' written by Chaudhary Lal Singh, Member of Parliament at a function here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manmohan Singh emphasised the need to root out corruption, social inequalities and social injustices. He also highlighted the importance of spending "power" for "public good" and regarding it as a societal trust. He paid glowing tributes to Chaudhary Lal Singh's efforts to promote the cause of healthcare for all, particularly, for the disadvantaged sections of Jammu and Kashmir and the role played by him in the Parliament.
