PM greets Nation on Raksha Bandhan

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the nation on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

In a message, Dr. Manmohan Singh said that the spirit of unity and brotherhood, cutting across all barriers of caste, creed and religion, are reinforced by the festival. It marks an important occasion which strengthens the familial bonds. The Prime Minister expressed the hope that the festival would help foster peace, goodwill and harmony in the country.
