PM's greetings message to Zororastrians on Navroz

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the nation, the members of the Parsi community in particular, on the joyous occasion of Navroz - the Parsi New Year.

In his message, Dr. Manmohan Singh expressed the hope that Navroz would be a harbinger of all-round peace, prosperity, and happiness. Occasions such as Navroz remind us of the inherent 'unity in diversity' of our nation and the richness of our pluralistic society. The invaluable contribution made by the Parsi community to the progress and development of our economic, social and cultural fabric will be cherished forever, the Prime Minister added.
