PM condoles death of Shri P K Vasudevan Nair

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has expressed deep sorrow on the demise of Shri P.K.Vasudevan Nair, former Chief Minister of Kerala and Member, Lok Sabha here today.

In a condolence message, Dr. Singh said that Shri P.K.Vasudevan Nair was deeply committed to the cause of the underprivileged. In his long and distinguished public life, he displayed a continued adherence to principles of social service, integrity and welfare of masses. PKV as he was popularly known, was a prominent parliamentarian who made significant contributions in various capacities, including as Chief Minister. He will always be remembered for his passion for social justice and public welfare, the Prime Minister added.
