Prime Minister sanctions Rs. 50000 to victims of landslide

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has expressed shock over the death of pilgrims in the landslides near Badrinath. He has conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and announced an ex gratia payment of Rs. 50,000 to each family from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.
