The Prime Minister has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanthi. In a message Dr Manmoahn Singh said that Lord Mahavir led humanity in the direction of enlightenment and humanistic ideals. His message of simplicity , harmony, compassion, and sacrifice continues to be the guiding principle for a virtuous life.
