The Prime Minister Congratulates Scientists on the successful test firing of Agni A-I Missile

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has congratulated scientists on the successful test firing of Agni A-I missile. In a message to the Scientific Advisor to Defence Minister Dr. V.K Atre, the Prime Minister felicitated the entire team of scientists and the engineers who have worked sincerely for the success of this prestigious project. In his message to the Director ASL (Advanced System Laboratory) Shri R.N. Agarwal, Dr. Manmohan Singh congratulated all the members of the laboratory who have dedicated their efforts to ensure the continuous success of this vital defence project.

Today's launch, in collaboration with the user of the product, marks yet another step forward in India's efforts to achieve self-reliance in high technology defence capabilities, the Prime Minister added.
