PM condoles tragic death of Jindal and Surinder Singh

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has expressed shock and grief over the death of Haryana Power Minister Om Prakash Jindal and Agriculture Minister Surinder Singh and other passengers and crew in a helicopter crash at Gangoh near Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.

Mr. O P Jindal, Jindal group Chairman and father of MP Naveen Jindal; and Surinder Singh, son of former Haryana chief minister Bansi Lal, were among the five people on board the helicopter flying from Chandigarh to Delhi.

The Prime Minister who is on a state visit to Mauritius has sent his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families.
