Prime Minister sanctions ex-gratia for J&K snowstorm victims

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in the snowstorms in Jammu and Kashmir. The Prime Minister sends his condolences to the bereaved families.

The Prime Minister has approved an ex-gratia payment of Rs 50,000/- from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to the kin of those who lost their lives in the heavy snowfall and avalanches across Jammu and Kashmir.
