The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.

In his message, the Prime Minister said that Lord Mahavir’s message of ahimsa and kindness to all nature’s creations is very relevant in today’s world. His philosophy of contentment and being one with nature as against competing with it is equally timeless.
