PM condoles the passing away of the Head of the Syrian Orthodox Church Mar Ignatius Zakka

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has condoled the passing way of the Supreme Head of Syrian Orthodox Church Patriarch Moran Mar Ignatius Zakka-I Iwas. In his message, he said, "I learnt with profound sadness the news of the passing away of His Holiness Moran Mar Ignatius Zakka-I Iwas. He was a great teacher and scholar. His wisdom and compassion were a source of guidance and inspiration to his followers. I convey my sincere condolences to all his disciples and admirers.”
