The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the nation on Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal.

Dr. Manmohan Singh, in his message, said that the festivals bring the promise of growth and prosperity. May this year's Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal mark an important milestone in the road to recovery and rehabilitation of those who suffered losses during the Tsunami tragedy, the Prime Minister added.
