PM condoles the passing away of Shri Madanjit Singh, founder of the South Asia Foundation

The Prime Minister is deeply saddened to learn about the passing away of Shri Madanjit Singh, founder of the South Asia Foundation and the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute for South Asia Regional Cooperation, Puducherry. Shri Madanjeet Singh, a humanist and philanthropist, had concieved these institutions to provide valuable service in the common goal of building a better and closer South Asia. For his lifelong dedication to promoting South Asian harmony, Shri Singh was recognised as an ambassador of peace and goodwill.

The Prime Minister conveys his heartfelt condolences to the family, close friends, colleagues and admirers of Shri Madanjeet Singh on this sad occasion.
