PM greets the Nation on the occasion of Onam

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Onam.

In a message, Dr. Manmohan Singh has said that Onam, which heralds the beginning of the harvest season is an occasion to celebrate the splendour and bounty bestowed by nature. The festival is a joyous tribute to the farmer and  inspires to cherish our environment. May the festival bring joy, peace and prosperity to all, the Prime Minister added.
