PM greets the Nation on the occasion of Navroz - the Parsi New Year

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the nation, and especially the members of the Parsi community, on the joyous occasion of Navroz - which marks the beginning of the Zoroastrian New Year.

In his message, the Prime Minister said that Navroz symbolizes new beginnings and is traditionally considered to be a harbinger of peace and prosperity.

May the occasion bring well-being and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood in our society, he added.
