PM greets the nation on Guru Nanak Jayanti

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has greeted the nation on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak's birthday.

In his message, Dr. Manmohan Singh said that Guru Nanakji's life and message of brotherhood and equality of man remains relevant today. The Prime Minister said that by following the teachings of Guru Nanakji, the world can overcome differences and work together to fight ignorance, poverty, hunger and disease.
