PM greets the Nation on Eid

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the nation on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Zuha.

In his message, the Prime Minister said that Id-ul-Zuha is an occasion to remember the spirit of supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim.

The festival teaches us to be humble, charitable and to work for the greater good of humankind.

"May Id-ul-Zuha usher in happiness and prosperity for all our countrymen", the Prime Minister added.
