Cabinet Committee on WTO Matters constituted

The Cabinet Committee on WTO Matters (CCWTO) has been constituted with the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh as Chairman. The members of the Committee will be as follows:

1. Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Minister of Defence

2. Shri Sharad Pawar, Minister of Agriculture; Food & Civil Supplies; Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution.

3. Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers; Steel

4. Shri P. Chidambaram, Minister of Finance

5. Shri Shankarsinh Vaghela, Minister of Textiles

6. Shri Kamal Nath, Minister of Commerce & Industry

7. Shri Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, Minister of Rural Development

8. Shri Dayanidhi Maran, Minister of Communications & IT

9. Shri Kapil Sibal, Minister of State (Independent charge) of the Ministry of Science & Technology; and Department of Ocean Development

The Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission and Shri Prithviraj Chavan, Minister of State (PMO) will be the Special Invitees.
