PM greets the people on Buddha Purnima

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has greeted the nation on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima. In a message, the Prime Minister said that Lord Buddha's message of non-violence, love, compassion and brotherhood are of eternal significance. "Let us follow Lord Buddha's message and eschew all forms of violence and work for the welfare of the downtrodden and underprivileged," the Prime Minister added.
