PM Enumerated for census-2011

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh was enumerated for the Census-2011 in New Delhi today.

Following is the text of PM's message on the occasion:

"The Census of India is the most massive operation for compiling statistics anywhere in the world. Some of this data forms an important base for planning the level of our economic and social activities and it constitutes an important input in the processes of planning and development. I request each and every one of our citizens to participate in this national endeavour and ensure that each one of our citizens is enumerated properly, and that this enumeration will constitute a treasure house of information for planning our development work."
